So, this is how she sits on my design wall.
I had a more haphazard design in mind, but I absolutely could not handle it. It was a visual cacophony of stress for my eyes when I laid it out in a more improvisational way.
The clincher is that this is somewhat of a meaningful quilt for me. I am part of a group right now and it is my project that defines my journey in life up until this point. It needed to be a little more haphazard.
But guess what? I decided that this is my life, my quilt and I am not going to spend any more of my time creating something that I don't like. As in crafting, so it is on my journey.
I get to create a life---and a quilt---that I like.
How freeing is that?
