Sandra at Small Town Thread has designed the cutest pillow pattern, and it's now listed as a kit in my shop. The kit contains everything you need to make one pillow top and it comes in three solid colorways.
Of course, you can choose fabrics of your own, if you would like to.

I am finished with my Balkan Puzzle Quilt, except for cutting all of the strings and photographing it. More pictures are coming soon!
This one was quite fun to make, even though it took me a long time. It got set aside while I attended to other projects, but I sure was happy to pick it up again. A little more about the process coming soon too!

I am in love with this skirt! So simple and so scrappy!
Who needs shorts when you can wear a scrappy skirt?
I know I don't!
My one mistake was to put the fabric with the white background right where my undies show through. Hey, just being real! Next time, the fabrics that go over the bum will be dark.

Hello, Friends!
It's Tuesday and you all know what that means: time to SHOW AND TELL (see guidelines below)!
I finished my puzzle quilt. I will post better pictures sometime soon, because these ones looked a lot better on the camera and by the time I downloaded them, it was too late to try again.
This quilt was quite fun to make and very simple! I loved working with the solids and will be doing more of that very soon. So much fun color to work with!
This quilt is being sent out to a sweet, newly-adopted nephew who has autism. So excited for him to get this!

There are just some fabrics that seem to be happy, don't you think?
I am working on some fun, new projects and it was nice to see how nicely these fabrics played together.
Sewing time has been abundant lately and I LOVE IT!
I am reminded once again how relaxing sewing something up can be. Gonna make sure sewing time stays on my calendar!

Welcome to SHOW AND TELL TUESDAY!
I am very happy to say that I have two projects to show you. This, of course, is not my norm, but sewing time has been in abundance for the last week or so...and I love that!
This week is binding week. And it's on two quilts that I am really enjoying. Isn't it great when sewing time does not seem like work?
The purple quilt is getting black binding because it's for a little boy. Going with the aqua or purples would have made it a little too girly for me.

Yesterday I was busy doing some things around my house and helping my daughter with homeschool, when all of a sudden I noticed that my lilacs were blooming!
Yeah!
I hadn't even seen them coming. I guess I have too preoccupied?
Anyway, I was surprised at how happy it made me to simply go outside with a jar and some pruning shears and cut a few. They are beautiful and they smell so good!
It's always the little things that make me smile--when I notice them! I guess I need to be less preoccupied and a little more tuned into the life around me.
Because I think there is a lot of goodness surrounding me!
