It's Show and Tell Tuesday and that means we can show our stuff!
If you have a sewing project in the works--at any stage--please link up here. Are you just choosing fabric? Cutting? All done? This is the place! (Guidelines are posted below).
I quilted some more loops yesterday, but I don't have a picture to share today on that. But I will show you two quilts that are in the cutting stage. Am I really starting two more quilts?
The first one is Aubry's quilt (pink, blue, green and purple). We are going to make Denyse Schmidt's Hop, Skip and Jump quilt. This is my 3rd making this layout and I love it. It's so simple and it ends up looking very random and scrappy. I am sure I will make good progress on this because Aubry is a little bit impatient. She won't let me forget this one!
Here is the picture of the quilt we are going for:
My next pile is a quilt for a friend. She likes non-girly colors and she has a modern sensibility. What are your thoughts on this stack (I added some more browns for contrast, but they are in the picture)?
I will be using Rachel's tutorial to cut my triangles out.
If you are participating in Show and Tell Tuesday, here are a few simple guidelines:
1. Post about your sewing-related project on your blog, or other sharing site. Then link up here by adding the post's URL (not the URL to your main site) to the link list below. Also, please link back to this Show and Tell Tuesday post in your own post.
2. Feel free to browse and comment on the links added below. It's a fun way to get to know people and find inspiration for your next project!
3. Add the sidebar graphic to your own site, if you want to. The code is found in this post.
If you have something to Show and Tell this week, be sure to link up below.
I look forward to seeing what you all are working on!
