Alyce @ Blossom Heart Quilts is hosting a "SQUEEZE YOUR OWN BUNDLE COMPETITION!"

Here are the rules from Alyce's blog:

 

Now Randi is offering you the chance to design your own beautiful bundle of fabric! What you need to do is choose 8 fabrics from either Fresh-Squeezed Online or Fresh-Squeezed on Etsy. Right-click and save the images of your chosen fabric. Create a mosaic of your chosen fabrics and come up with a name for your bundle! Upload them to Flickr or write a blog post about them, then link up here. When you link up, use your bundle name as the linky name!

And the important bit - who wins and how!! Rita from Red Pepper Quilts, Faith from Fresh Lemons Quilts and Randi will each choose their favourite bundle based on the bundle itself and the name. From these 3 finalists, I will choose my ultimate favourite and this person will win a fat quarter bundle of their fabric selection! The 2 runner ups will win a fat eighth bundle of their fabric selection!

starry starry sewing

Three more stars to add to  my growing collection.

I discovered that I cut most of the medium squares out incorrectly (or at least some are missing), so I will be back to the cutting mat for that.  Not too excited about that, but we must go forward, right?

This quilt is going to be bigger than I planned, but that's quite alright.  I like how this one is turning out.

A friend and I were talking today about our need to get back to having weekly sewing days together. The summertime brought things like that to a grinding halt, and now that the weather is turning I feel the need to sew and chat with friends.  That is always such a great time.

things i love about fall

***The changing colors.  It's so very pretty by the riverwalk where I run in the mornings.  It's looks like the light sparkles as it comes through the trees.

***Soup-making weather!

***Drinking coffee during the day.

***Hiking.  It's not too hot and the scenery is too pretty.

***Apple crisp.  Yum!

***Wearing sweaters once in a while.  But still being able to wear flip-flops on some days.

***Snuggling under quilts in the morning.

some good changes!

I am seriously excited about this!

My son is now working for me on a regular basis.  He has done most of my folding and packaging up until now, but as far as working everyday at a certain time, this is new.

He will now be cutting and doing some listing.

He is excited to make some money.

I am excited about having some free time.  For sewing, blogging and just some fun things.

Learning to crochet is one of the things I want to figure out.

Aubry is also helping out more with folding.

She is looking forward to money also.

Ah, it's so so great to have a staff!  :)
