Thank you for celebrating with me!
You know, I feel very blessed that my little business just keeps chigging along in spite of the economy. I started out by buying 21 bolts of fabric way back when the government gave us all stimulus checks. I managed to make my shop look a little fuller than it really was, and after that every penny--seriously, every penny---went into buying more bolts of fabric!
After a while I had a respectable stock, but I still felt a bit bummed that lots of other shops were selling LOTS more than me. This was one of the reasons I almost quit. Numerous times.
I am so glad I didn't because after about a year and a half I found a rhythym. Now I can tell when the slow times are (and I don't get very worried about it) and when the crazy-busy times are. I am actually glad that things started out slow and quiet because I would have found myself very overwhelmed and stressed if they didn't! God knew better than to allow a quick start for me!
Now on to the second giveaway: Heather's Bailey's New Leaf Folding Tote Pattern plus fabric to make one totebag!
I have to say that Heather's patterns are eye-candy, don't you think? The photography is just perfect and the colors are amazing.
To enter the giveaway leave a comment on this post. And if you feel like it, tell me one thing you would like to try someday. Maybe a career path, or a skill. Big or small. Mention it in the comments. Also, if you feel inclined to post about the giveaway on your blog, facebook or twitter, feel free to enter your name in the comments twice.
Also, I will be announcing all of the winners on Sunday.
Have a great day!
