...that this year's garden is a bust!
This is about it as far as the tomatoes we will be harvesting. We have 12 plants and most of them--except for the cherry and grape tomatoes--have a disease that is causing them to ripen early with wrinkly, thick skin. That means that the little bowl of tomatoes in the picture cost us a whole bunch of money and effort to produce.
Aaargh!
Apparently the farmer's market will be our vegetable source for canning and freezing. That's OK since there is a lot of quality veggies there these days. I was just hoping to get the produce from our own yard.
Maybe next year...
