Have I ever mentioned that I don't like eating breakfast? Until about 11:00 in the morning, food just doesn't sound good to me.
However, I tend to get dizzy and a bit scatter-brained if I don't eat something earlier, especially when I exercise. Coffee doesn't take me through my morning like I wish it would.
I made some granola bars that I like quite a bit, although I made a bunch of changes to the recipe based on what I had in the cupboards. Cashews stood in for the almonds, Flax Seed replaced the Wheat Germ, and all I had were dried apples. They came out tasty, not too chewy and toasty-flavored. I like that.
Next time I will reduce the baking time by 5 minutes so they don't brown so much. Although that might affect the toasty taste.
