On Friday we had an impromptu sleepover for the boy's friends--eight of them! (all teenagers)--and their dads came over on Saturday morning to play Airsoft. I need to say that we are very blessed to have wonderful friends for our kids. Not one problem came up with all of those crazy, hungry boys in our house. They are all polite, kind, helpful and very active!
On Saturday morning the dads came over to join the boys in a game of Airsoft so that meant that Aubry and I had some crafting time together. She saw the tutorial for Monica's Poochie Bag sitting on my sewing table and wanted to make them based on the cuteness of the print-out. My girl has taste!
These little bags are simple and fun to make (I am thinking these would be cute gift bags!) and Aubry did all of the sewing on hers using her Hello Kitty sewing machine. I helped with the placement of fabric and the pinning, but she did the rest. She proudly toted it to the park on Sunday to show her friends.
I used the brand-new Happy Campers collection, which is so cute, and Aubry used Michael Miller's Sweets. She is crazy about those ice-cream cones and sprinkles.
What about you? Are you working on anything crafty?
