I am in need of some inspiration!
My daughter's bridal shower is coming up and I need a theme and some activity ideas. My girl is not a girly-girl. She doesn't like pink/ruffles/lace and she doesn't like the idea of typical shower games/activities. She does like the outdoors, adventure, travel, and, of course, her guy! Because he is in the Marines and has a deployment coming up, they won't even be getting their own house until quite a while after their marriage.
I was thinking of some sort of "outdoor adventure" theme. Instead of the typical houseware type gifts, people could bring camping/hiking/outdoor fun stuff for Danika and Luke. I know my girl would love this and they would use these items prior to his deployment.
Does this sound odd?
Do you have any ideas for games/activities?
Really, I am stumped as to how to proceed on this and I would love some advice.
