Here's another hint:
One more:
If you guessed "San Francisco", you're right!
My hubs and I escaped for one whole week, all by ourselves, to the city by the bay.
Oh my gosh, we had so much fun! We tried lots of new things and foods and places. Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, bicycling the bay, running the Golden Gate Bridge, eating Indian food (YUM!), taking a taxi (never done that before!), riding cable cars, staying in a super-nice hotel, riding a ferry-boat and seeing a Richard Avedon photography exhibit.
Wonderful, all of it!
The best part was Craig and I doing what we wanted, when we wanted. It reminded me of when we first met: all of that excitement just to be together. I think this trip was long overdue! I am reminded of why I fell for my guy in the first place. Too bad the good stuff tends to get crowded out by the day-to-day necessities. I want to be more conscious of how precious our relationship is and try to avoid drifting apart. Is it possible to have a vacation attitude all year long?
Craig was interested in trying this:
It was like wind-surfing with a giant kite. Maybe on our next vacation...
I am glad to be home, but a bit wistful knowing that our vacation is over. The laundry piles staring at me just aren't as exciting as the thought of exploring the city with my hubby.
What a blessing to live life with my very best friend!
Have a great Monday!
