This weekend my hubs helped Aubry get all of the bird-feeders filled with food. In the mornings we can hear the birds singing and we want to get them to hang out in our yard.
What can I say? We think bird-watching is fun.
I realize that bird-watching accounts for a pretty boring activity, but my family is amused by it. Our family room is a perfect perch for watching our backyard visitors and making attempts to figure out what they are.
We also have a gymnastic squirrel that hangs upside-down to steal all of the bird-food each year, as well as the deer that come to snack on it. We keep buying it in spite of them.
The birds are worth it.
