(This picture is from last spring. I needed to post it to remind myself that spring is just around the corner!)
The Recipe Box Swap turned out great! It is great to have so many new recipes to try. Lately my mind goes blank when it comes time to make a menu and a grocery list, and I know that this upcoming week will be different. I think we will have to do another "Swap" soon! First Thursday of the month sound good?
When I was looking through recipes, it became apparent that I tend to look mainly for things that my hubby will like. He is a food-lover and is so happy when something tastes good. Cooking is fun when your audience is adoring!
I have come across a number of great links and I didn't want to keep them all to myself (especially since some of them are for Valentine's Day crafts), so here they are:
***Denise shows how to make tissue paper votives. Cute!
***Plum Pudding has a simple tutorial for making Valentine's wristlets. Aubry is going to love these!
***Lori posted an awesome human body unit study on the Heart of the Matter blog. We will using this in upcoming weeks, for sure! (The newest "Heart of the Matter" issue is available too!)
***Need a new apron? You will find 56 free apron patterns here.
***The Shutter Sisters is a wonderful new photography blog. I have a feeling that I will be learning a lot from these gals!
Have a great weekend!
