It was great!
I did manage to take some breaks for fun and being with friends, but basically, the sewing machine was my partner in crime most of the time.
One of my projects that got finished was a Chevron Pillow for an upcoming class that I am teaching. It is a very simple design (which is what I was shooting for because I want students to take home a completed project) with no machine quilting. But I do like the look.
I used Madrona Road and Essex Linen.
Also, I pieced my pillow for the Madrona Road Quilt Guild Challenge. It's also a simple design, but I will be doing some hand-stitching on it to add some swag. :)
