...to making something!
This time it's a simple baby quilt in citrus-y colors.
I decided to just jump in and make something, rather than waiting for inspiration. These fabrics had been cut for another project (a year ago) and were just sitting there waiting for their turn in the sun. Really, I don't even have a plan for this little quilt, but I was tired of waiting for "the mood" to strike. For me, making something actually provides inspiration. Hopefully by the time this little quilt it done, I will know what direction to take next.
Here is a progress pic. Not a great one, but I did take it at night without the flash, so I feel pretty good about it. The only way to master the camera in manual mode is to keep it in manual mode, right?:
