My apple core quilt top is finished!

I enjoyed sewing this one up, but the pinning.....aargh! More time was spent pinning than sewing rows together!
Have I ever mentioned that I avoid pinning fabric together as much as I can?
Well, I do like the look of this one.
At this point I am debating about trimming the edges. I don't like the idea of the wavy edges on the quilt--straight seems the way to go, even though many people keep the edges as is. Here is how Anna finished her apple core quilt (I like it!).
Any thoughts about that?
