Yesterday, the temps started off at -11! Sheesh!
That's a bit cold for me, but hot chocolate always makes me warm up. My cup was filled a few times during the day.
The nice thing about snow and cold days where we live in Colorado, is the sunshine. You can always count on it. If it snows, the sun will come out tomorrow (oops! I may have just gotten a song stuck in your head!). If it's cold, even -11 degrees cold, the sun is generally shining. And I like that. Somehow it makes the low temps feel bearable.
Of course, I don't go stand outside in the cold or anything like that, but it makes me think that if I did leave my house and my steaming mug of hot chocolate, it would feel bearable outside.
Because the sun is shining.
