My camera has been in the hospital for about 3 weeks now and I have been missing her. Until she was gone, I had no idea how often I reach for her. I guess you don't know what you've got until it's gone, right?
A new camera strap has been on my mind for a while now so I got to work, and I started with Cluck Cluck Sew's tutorial for cutting my pieces. I love when things are all laid out for me like that.
The patchworking part is always fun. Laying out all the fabrics and deciding which ones stay and which ones go is relaxing, don't you think?
Once I got the pieces cut out and the patchwork sewn together, the strap took about 15 minutes to make. Almost too easy!
Now all I need is my camera. She is all ready to come home and I will be picking her up at the end of the week.
Do you think she will be excited about her new strap?
