Aubry made this doll sling using this tutorial. She sewed all four side seams by herself and turned the sling right-side out, and I helped her by adding the rings. This is a perfect first project for a young girl who can sew a straight line on the machine.
She has great taste in fabric, using the Darla fabric that I am in love with right now.
Ah, she makes me so proud!
Happy sewing!

Too cute! What a sweet little mommy she is!

Thanks for the link - I think this would be a great project for my daughter. She could make one for her sister who turns 3 tomorrow!

Randi,
That is such a cute project. The Princess' interest in sewing ebbs and flows. :)

Okay, this has to be a project day. I know my girls will both love one and I might need one step explained.
Next week my Thursday is the best day - would that work to get together???

swaps are FUN! I did a pink swap, in October, for breast cancer awareness. They are super easy to put together. if you want help, definitely email me. A lot of bloggers even co-do them and I would love to co-do it, if you wanted... or not. :)
