small things

Img_6560

My days are filled with small things:

***Making granola

***A watermelon-lovin' dog

***Aubry's plans and designs for a store called Fresh-Squeezed Flowers

***Cleaning--but not quite spring-cleaning

***Weeding the garden (it only takes me a few minutes at this point in the year!)

***Baking bread

***Sewing aprons with a friend

***Josiah telling me all about the exciting book he is reading

***Organizing things for my fabric store (I haven't even gotten the fabric and I am unorganized!)

The small things are where memories are made...

...and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Awwww! your pup is too cute!

So true, Randi...the little things make life worth every single second! And, too funny about the watermelon-lovin dog! That made me smile :)

Love this list, Randi.

Can't wait to see the fruits of Aubrey's plans for her store. : )

Maddie is just too cute. She definitely favors her labby heritage. Watermelon . . . now that's a new one for a doggy treat!

Hi Randi,
Your life sounds full and blessed.

Hey Miss Randi! :)

I am so excited for you, for your "Fresh-Squeezed Fabrics"!! How exciting is that?!

I *love* seeing your gardening photos. Just lovely. Makes me want to go outside and take a stroll through my garden. I think I will do that here in a few minutes.

I love your Veruca Salt voice! lol I am imagining hearing it. lol

The small things in your life are beautiful things, Randi. I would love to see, if possible, your recipe for your homemade bread. I'd like to make bread way more often than I do and you may be my inspiration today.

My husband will be home tomorrow, for the first time since March. (OTR truck driver) So, we should have a nice weekend.

Have an awesome day, Randi! Hugs, Robin

I can't wait to see your store all finished- I know it is going to be great!

What a cutie and great memories!

What a sweet little doggy - Never seen one that liked watermelon - LOL - awesome memories!

Congratulations on your new store. Best wishes. Theses are mighty exciting times for you. Good for you. I say listen to the sound of your own voice, and you can see forever. You go girlfriend and swing this old world by it tail.

I love my purses. You do beautiful work. I'll buy more. Make me something with strawberries! The bad news is, the purse is too small for my mother who likes big honking bags. The good news is, I'M KEEPING IT! hahahaha

You're awesome. Thank you so much. Blessings to you.

What a fantastic place you have here! This is my first visit and I love it. Gotta go read more... Oh, think I will love the new shop. Glad you are taking the big first step.

Thank you for reminding me that "by small and simple things are great things brought to pass." Have a lovely "simple things" day!

The new store how fun and exciting good luck char

Love your dog...and your blog. Thanks for the tutorial.
Regards Laura

Treasuring the smaller things today as well! :-)

Those are great small things. Although added up together they make for a full life!

Both my dogs love fruit and they especially love watermelon season.

Oh my goodness how cute!! Love this post, makes you appreciate the little things in life. I have to say, I LOVE the name Josiah..wow, what a beautiful name!

How true! our days are filled with lots of small things and they all add up to something very big...in the Lord!

what is granola ?

What a sweet pic!!

pppssstt...I opened an Etsy store Friday. Just got it started so not much is in it yet.

AND I SIGNED A CONTRACT ON A HOUSE!! I am going to get my craft room!!

Randi you are sooo right! The little things are what make our LIFE! Nicely put :)

I love that little doggie! I have an 11yr. old black lab who has never tried watermelon. Today I am going to change his life!

Your puppy is precious! We are on our third black lab. First was a neighbors a few streets away who visited us daily, got so he didn't want to go home. Lady would let him out in a.m. he'd come to our home and we'd take him home in the eveing. Lady became terminal ill and asked us to take him while she tried to add five years to her life. Of course we did. Second, was nephew's puppy girlfriend gave him. Puppy chewed and chewed items not suppose to chew or scratch while he was at work. Came to family Christmas Party Sunday before Christmas and asked if we would please take puppy. Of course we did. Third, daughter brought home from college. Mama doggy was lab but boxer came a courting. He looks like a full blood lab. While dd was in college and grad school, puppy decided nana and papa was mommy and daddy so he stayed when she got married and built house next door.
