Some of the best days are holiday baking days!
Kids love to get involved in measuring, mixing and taste-testing. If they can see over the counter while standing on a chair, they can help.
Recipes that call for rolling dough or dipping things in chocolate are perfect for kids. Big messes are ahead, but so is much fun and sweetness!

Oh, the chocolate crinkles look delicious... and the rest of the recipes sound yummy too! Now, I just need to get focused and decide what I want to make this year. I tend to think about a lot of ideas and then I'm overwhelmed.

Your daughter looks JUST like the daughter of a friend of mine. It's kind of disconcerting, actually.
And a recipe for CHOCOLATE DIPPED OREOS! Well. Now I know what we're going to be tucking into everyone's presents!

oooh we make chocolate crinkles too! all the way in australia - the world really is a small place.
my kids like baking too - who said measures had to be accurate??? i used to get a bit stressed but now i realise it's the process, not the end result, that matters.
merry christmas

The crinkles look delicious! If I can muster up some energy, I would head into the kitchen to make some. But being 37 weeks preggo can really slow a person down.
